Daph Veil – Bloodsucker
Daph Veil is a singer-songwriter and an alternative artist. Drifting effortlessly from pop, to electro pop to pop rock to alt rock, her soundscapes are riveting and stimulating. Siren Section – Medicine
Siren Section’s alternative rock is not of this world. It is ethereal, dark and hypnotic in a way that swirls around you. In their latest release, ‘Medicine’, they set out an atmospheric rock song. Sean MacLeod – Romeo
Sean MacLeod’s ‘Romeo’ concludes this week’s list. It builds on the textures of its predecessor, softens it and takes it to a melodic pop rock space. The vocals are fun, peppy and uplifting. And the guitar grooves, forming around it, pooling into the bass lines, and animating the beats is active and dynamic. The song has a lot of The Smiths influence, that easy, vulnerable melodic rock style which instantly has your walls down. That 90s sound is quite prominent. But there’s also that fresh, modern feel to it that you can lift into. It is vibrant, romantic, youthful, and so full of active liveliness. A great track to flow through roads with. Listen Now!
