Sleep Stage – Sick of Love Songs 

Sleep Stage brings alt rock to a cinematic stage with their latest release, ‘Sick of Love Songs’. The song, as the title suggests, is made with the intention of being the antithesis of love songs. Dreary atmosphere, dark tones, and an intense instrumental orchestra. With riffs that perform lavishly and bass lines that build up the characters, the song is so visceral and full of visual qualities. There is almost an anthemic quality to it as the chords and beats rise up to meet the emotional vocal peaks. With a deviant quality that is reminiscent of 90s rock bands like Nirvana and Green Day, the song comes alive in its swirling darkness and powerhungry performance.
