Shyfrin Alliance – In The Shadow of Time
If time went rogue, this is probably what it would sound like. Shyfrin Alliance’s alt rock in latest single, ‘Shadow of Time’ is a delight to listen to. The track has a spectacular energy, a burst of power surging from the basslines, a momentum explored with beats and fountaining in the guitar melodies, frothing in riffs. With the whole soundscape coming alive, the dark shadows of music, the mysterious castles contained within, the lost, the forgotten, the dead, all of it comes alive in this track. A whole different landscape of time that suddenly springs alive and plays in your ear. Such a well made, well played, well produced song. And is sure as hell something you want flooding your car when you’re drifting weightlessly through the highway.
Rosetta West – Dora Lee (Gravity)
Rosetta West keeps the hard ball rock going. With their latest single, ‘Dora Lee (Gravity)’ they explore a coarse, gritty reality with a rich darkness. Its weight anchors and creates chaos at the same time. And tinged with classic rock, a bluesy cast, it makes for such a spectacular and special composition. The beats slap, the riffs foam, and the basslines form a deep glaze that percolates. The power is wielded with softness, expression and creativity; and it reaches the listener so well. That’s why you’re able to connect to the vision quickly and go with it; right from the get go. And it perfectly adds to the mood and atmosphere set previously.
Leazes – Sun’s Out
Leazes is a power pop band with a seemingly unending supply of energy. Their soundscapes have such a vibrance, a momentum that you can boost a rocket into space with. ‘Sun’s Out’ is the band’s latest release, a burning, soaring, dynamic, and hyperactive song. It chases the feeling of joy, of happiness to its maximum extent and presents the energy that the journey generates. The riffs are so bold and fiery, spreading out in spheres, spreading the euphoric atmosphere, calling you to dance, spin around, jump around, celebrating and romancing. The perfect summer song, especially if you’re headed to a fun vacation with friends. It’s sure to bring you all on the same wavelength.
